Great News from 12th April 2021 we are going to start our coaching sessions again, as long as the governing body or Government guidelines do not change. Due to the BE return to play guidelines the sessions will be different from last year and I’m excited at the opportunity to provide quality sessions twice a week for all Outlaws players. and once we are established start County Match practice sessions once again.

We need to continue to maintain social distancing and I feel at present minimise the number of adults in the building as the 2m rule still applies. All the sessions will have 2-hour time slots and there will be plenty of court space for each session.

I’m sure everyone is worried about the safety of their children so I have attached A link to the Badminton England guidelines, if you want to read more information about returning to play. https://www.badmintonengland.co.uk/return-to-play/

Each venue will have its own risk assessment for us to follow, to maximise the safe use of its facilities. And as before regular use of hand gel will be needed to keep everyone safe!

TEAMO is going to be an essential tool for us all to use this year as it guarantees messages get through to players and parents and allows us to manage the Outlaws more effectively.

To be able to train players must…

Use the TEAMO Play safe registration just prior to each session to confirm each player is fit to train and free of any Covid19 symptoms.

TEAMO is going to be our sole source of payments using STRIPE secure card payments each month or for any extra weekly training payments.

The actual cost of the term’s sessions taking into account court costs, coaching fees and equipment is £64 for a month. The fees will be payable in advance of training each month through to August 15th when the current term will finish. The first Month will be at a reduced rate of £48 considering the start date.

Any Shirts required will be supplied at a discounted rate and will be available through the APP once the season is underway.

You will be prompted to complete registration details to give us any medical history or instructions and an undertaking to follow our player's safety procedure and code of conduct.

We are looking forward to welcoming our players back after such a long break. Any news about the Outlaws badminton will be broadcast through our app and twitter account @OutlawsBad.

If you have any questions please feel free to message me or Outlaws committee members Neil Franklin or Mark Attewell as well as the any of the coaching team. We are trying our best get our players on court as much as possible whilst following official guidelines and we ask all parents to work with us in a positive way, to enable us to start the journey back to full time Badminton, competitions and tournaments.

More about the Outlaws, committee and will be on our website https://www.nottinghamshireoutlawsperformancebadminton.org/ and TEAMO

Kind regards
